Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students and families affected by cancer, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversity and special needs.

• Utilize standardized tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to accurately diagnose mental health conditions.

• Provide ongoing evaluations of patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure effectiveness, facilitating support for mental health diagnoses.

• Maintain thorough documentation of all treatment records and clinical information, ensuring compliance with departmental procedures and regulatory requirements, while utilizing current technology effectively.

• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans that encompass patient needs and desired outcomes, while ensuring safety and symptom reduction strategies are addressed.

• Serve as a liaison for patient referrals, ensuring seamless coordination with external treatment providers and building effective relationships with referral agencies.

• Contribute to the professional development of students, interns, and fellow staff through education, mentoring, and peer review initiatives.

• With clinical supervision, engage in team meetings aimed at chart auditing, clinical collaboration, and coaching to elevate practice standards and foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
