This position operates in a fully remote setting, enabling you to create a comfortable and productive workspace tailored to your needs. Our telehealth facility is equipped with advanced technology to facilitate consultations and therapy sessions, maintaining robust security and confidentiality. You will be expected to work from your home office while attending team meetings and supervision via video conferencing platforms. The standard work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will involve numerous responsibilities aimed at supporting patient wellness and ensuring high-quality care. Key tasks include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and collaborating to create personalized treatment plans.

• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver tailored interventions effectively.

• Facilitating psychoeducational workshops and support groups designed to promote community engagement among individuals facing similar mental health challenges.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care and ensure effective treatment coordination.

• Delivering crisis intervention services to support patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.

• Providing education to patients about their mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and community resources to empower their recovery process.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Tennessee as either an LMFT , LPC , or LCSW .
\n
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans that effectively address clients’ diverse needs.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health counseling or a related field is highly desired. Experience providing therapy to diverse populations and familiarity with telehealth practices will be beneficial in thriving within this role.
