Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist Location: Beaverton, OR | On-Site Pay Range: $52,000 – $58,000 annually About the Opportunity Our client, a well-established and growing organization in the Portland metro area, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join its accounting team. Why Join / Company Highlights Stable, respected organization with a strong culture of learning and professional growth Supportive leadership team that encourages collaboration, innovation, and process improvement Community-focused workplace offering volunteer opportunities and employee engagement initiatives Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of B2B accounts receivable and oversee collections activities to reduce outstanding balances Research customer accounts, perform account reconciliations, and resolve billing discrepancies Partner with customers and internal teams to address payment issues and improve collection outcomes Forecast cash collections and maintain accurate reporting on aging accounts and collection status Monitor payments, apply cash activity, and ensure accurate account reconciliations Maintain and update accounting systems, spreadsheets, and Excel-based reporting tools Support continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and month-end accounting processes as needed Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, B2B Collections, Credit & Collections, or Customer Account Resolution Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze account activity, perform reconciliations, and manage reporting Solid communication skills and customer-focused approach with the ability to resolve issues professionally Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary of $52,000 – $58,000 Some hybrid flexibility down the road Career development and ongoing learning opportunities Manager is an excellent mentor!
