Financial Specialist

Position Summary The Financial Specialist position is responsible maintenance of accounts for persons in our care, including payroll, and using the computerized system WICS (Wisconsin Integrated Corrections System) for the processing and management of MSDF Canteen Sales and fiscal operations; maintenance of the general ledger and other accounts; preparation of various financial reports, including the submission of routine monthly, quarterly, and annual reports This position provides backup to other Financial Specialist staff and performs other duties as assigned. Salary Information This position is in pay schedule and range 02-11 with a starting pay of $22.76/hour, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period (or career executive trial period) is required.
