Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in the homes of our clients, where the focus is on creating a comfortable and supportive environment for therapy sessions. You will work closely with patients, adapting the therapeutic approach to their personal circumstances, which may vary widely. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, and restore muscle function based on patient assessments and physician prescriptions.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure they execute the care plan effectively.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities and conditions using various diagnostic tests, providing insights that inform treatment adjustments.
• Assess clients' home environments to recommend modifications that enhance their safety and independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual treatments, and assist clients in non-manual exercises, encouraging their participation in functional activities.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, consulting with physicians on necessary modifications.
• Document client progress, changes in condition, and responses to therapy to inform ongoing care strategies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and evaluate comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education and training to clients and their families on home care practices and the use of therapeutic devices.
• Complete necessary clinical records, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with agency regulations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a valid state license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, preferably in acute care or home care settings.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with a passion for patient engagement and advocacy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to the needs of diverse patient populations.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of therapies and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
