Work Environment

The role is entirely onsite, primarily focusing on home care, allowing you to engage with patients in their own environments where they feel most comfortable. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with orthopedic issues, including joint pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal injuries.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on the specific needs, goals, and medical histories of your patients, ensuring that each treatment is personalized for maximum efficacy.
• Utilize innovative techniques and evidence-based practices to facilitate patient recovery. This may involve manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Attend regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, appropriate exercises, and effective self-care strategies to promote long-term health and recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all records are up-to-date and reflective of treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical practice will encompass a diverse patient population, treating individuals of all ages who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, traumas, and chronic conditions. This includes young athletes, active adults, and seniors, each facing unique rehabilitative challenges. Engaging with patients in their home environment will allow you to identify real-world constraints and tailor interventions accordingly.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• At least two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Specific experience in home health care settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary range for this position is USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
