Work Environment

The work setting for this role is primarily outpatient home care, which means you will travel to various patient locations within the East Brunswick area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and conditions, taking into consideration their medical histories and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop tailored treatment plans focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality, using evidence-based techniques and methodologies.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery and improvement.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment designed for outpatient therapy, including therapeutic exercise modalities, manual therapy techniques, and educational resources to guide patients through their recovery journey.
• Engage in clinical teaching by mentoring interns or new graduates, imparting knowledge gained from your experience and collaborating with peers to enhance the team's practice.
• Stimulate professional development by preparing and leading in-service presentations, focusing on emerging trends and evidence in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population primarily dealing with musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative orthopedic patients, and those suffering from chronic pain conditions. Your role is crucial in helping these individuals become more functional and independent in their daily activities, while also providing educational support to help them manage their conditions effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess and address patient needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year , along with a comprehensive benefits package.
