Document Control Specialist

Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Document Control Specialist. We are seeking a positive team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a position with high visibility and great potential for advancement. Duties include, but are not limited to: Issue approved manufacturing procedures, specification, production drawings, and Bill of Materials to the production department as a result of the pre-production activities Ensure all documents remain legible and readily retrievable Retrieve and re-issue documents affected by revision changes File Electronic copies of documents on computer systems Verify warranty status and document details in ERP Respond to customer and supplier returns per procedures in Quality Manual Qualifications/Requirements: Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to: Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work Excellent typing and ten-key skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team Ability to learn new tasks quickly and independently Experience with the following software is required: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) Internet Explorer or other web browsers Experience with the following preferred, but not required (will train): Quality Documentation Database and/or ERP systems Adobe Acrobat Experience with a manufacturing company is a plus. Candidates must have the ability to occasionally work overtime.
