Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care – Valley Park, Missouri Job Type : Staff (Ongoing) – Specialty: Wound Care – Discipline: RN Responsibilities Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on managing illness or injury, post‑treatment home‑care needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and the patient’s family or caregiver, ensuring timely communication across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care, assessing patient preferences and barriers—including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs. Maintains a constant state of alertness and works in a safe manner as a safety‑sensitive position; ability to work safely is an essential function of this job. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s – no prior RN experience required. Supervisor Experience: None. Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN).
