Overview

The HR Manager leads the HR Operations and Benefits teams to build, implement, and manage effective, results-driven outcomes. This position will oversee the HR Operations functions.

 

Position Reports To:  Director of HR

Responsibilities

1. Direct and oversee the daily operations of HR administration, benefits, HRIS, leave administration, and employee records management.

2. Establish and maintain HR operational procedures, standard work, and internal controls to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.

3. Supervise and develop HR Operations and Benefits staff through coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning.

4. Establish and analyze HR and benefits metrics, prepare reports and dashboards, and provide recommendations to improve employee experience and operational effectiveness.

5. Work in conjunction with Director and HR Leadership to set cascading goals and meet budget or hiring metrics.

6. Manage vendor performance, invoices, audits, and service-level agreements to ensure quality and fiscal accountability.

7. Serves as a member of the HR leadership team to assist with the development of HR goals and strategies.

8. Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures related to benefits, employee data management, and HR operations.

9. Develop, implement, and administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, life, disability, wellness, and voluntary benefits.

10. Manage HRIS configuration, data integrity, reporting, audits, and process improvements to support organizational objectives.

11. Serves on CH workgroups in matters beyond the daily scope of their position.

12. Lead HR operational projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee service.

13. Partner with Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and operational leaders to ensure seamless administration of employee programs and workforce initiatives.

14. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for leaders and employees regarding benefits programs, HR processes, and regulatory requirements.

15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 6 years recent/relevant experience and 2 years of relevant leadership experience.

Deired:

• Benefits experience.
• Previous Human Resources experience as a generalist or senior analyst.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS and advanced computer skills related to Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge and experience in problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.
• PHR, SPHR (SHRM-CP/SCP) or CHHR certification.
