Account Executive - Screening (Suffolk East)

Guardant Health seeks a field-based Account Executive to promote Shield, a colorectal cancer blood test, to primary care providers in Suffolk East. The role involves building provider relationships, executing sales strategies, and supporting the launch of cancer screening technologies in a remote position based in New York.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by prospecting and building relationships with primary care providers to adopt Shield test
- Educate and train primary care practices on Shield integration and drive stakeholder buy-in across organizations
- Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and support product launch execution
- Identify new business opportunities within territory and establish phlebotomy draw agreements with regional laboratories
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends, sharing customer insights with leadership to optimize sales strategies
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years customer-facing healthcare sales (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical) or 2 years healthcare sales plus clinical experience as RN or PA
- Demonstrated ability to engage in consultative selling and overcome objections
- Strong understanding of healthcare provider landscape and ability to learn technical product knowledge
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Veeva
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Preferred: experience with diagnostic products, blood-based testing, or cancer screening
- Preferred: experience planning and executing healthcare product launches
