Overview Speech Language Pathologist-II is an independent licensed provider of medical speech-language pathology services for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. SLP-II demonstrates proficiency in practice and identifies the physiological, safety, developmental and educational needs of patients and families using appropriate tests and/or technologies. Responsibilities In accordance with certification and licensure standards, proficiently performs and documents diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures to evaluate, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders. Continues education, training and instruction to acquire new skills and competencies. Participates in activities to increase the quality, efficiency and outcomes of patient care, with increased leadership and responsibility. Qualifications Master's Degree and 1-2 years experience Pathology and completed Clinical Fellowship required. Pediatric experience preferred, but not required. Experience as a paraprofessional in speech pathologist area accepted. or Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist KS Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist MO Certificate of Clinical Competence - Speech Employees must obtain Am. The pay range for this job begins at $34.90/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
