Staff Product Manager - Enterprise AI Platform

Staff Product Manager for Abbott's Enterprise AI Platform, responsible for owning the product roadmap and paved-road services that enable teams across the company to build, deploy, and operate AI/ML systems safely and at scale. The role involves translating consuming team needs into prioritized capabilities while driving adoption, governance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for the AI Platform control plane and paved-road services in partnership with engineering leadership
- Gather and prioritize platform requirements from consuming teams, balancing requests against roadmap capacity
- Define and evolve self-service tooling, templates, and standards for building and operating AI/ML systems
- Maintain platform backlog, write requirements, and represent consuming teams' needs in engineering planning
- Define and track adoption, satisfaction, and onboarding metrics to steer roadmap decisions
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of product management experience with platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products
- Hands-on PM experience managing internal platforms consumed by engineering teams (developer platforms, API platforms, data platforms, or MLOps platforms)
- Product management experience specifically with AI/ML platforms (registries, agent-orchestration, evaluation/observability tooling)
- Strong technical depth in model/agent registries, orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and control-plane governance
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
- Strong stakeholder-management skills across multiple internal teams with competing priorities
Compensation: $129,300–$258,700 base
