Product Manager, AI Vendor Tools - Hedge Fund - $200,000-$275,000 base

Job Description

You'd own AI vendor strategy at one of the most technically sophisticated investment firms in the world.

This is a firm that has been technology-led since day one. One of the original quant investment firms, now heavily investing in generative AI across the entire business. The engineers here are some of the best you'll find anywhere.

Your users range from quant researchers to operations teams. You're not maintaining a product someone else built. You're defining the strategy, owning the relationships with frontier labs like OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Google, and building the first phase of the platform from scratch in year one.

After that, the plan is to build a team around you. There's a clear path to leading a function, and the groundwork you lay in the first twelve months is what makes that happen.

You're technical. A CS background is preferred, and you can prototype and build lightweight tools and dashboards yourself. You've owned GenAI strategy and a roadmap before, and you've managed relationships with frontier lab or AI vendors directly. You have the instincts of a future leader even if you're not managing anyone yet.

It helps if you've led an enterprise Claude or Copilot rollout, owned AI adoption or enablement, or come from developer tools. A mix of big tech foundations and in-house or startup delivery is a strong fit. Financial services experience is a plus, not a requirement.
