Executive Assistant
$25 - $27 per hourInsight Global
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support a fast-paced municipal office in New Haven County, Connecticut. This role will manage executive calendars, coordinate meetings, support board operations, and serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage leadership calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Coordinate with departments, officials, consultants, and residents
- Draft and distribute correspondence, memos, and official documents
- Maintain records, files, and office documentation
- Serve as administrative support for boards/committees:
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and minutes
- Coordinate meeting logistics (including hybrid/virtual setup)
- Process legal notices and public postings
- Respond to inquiries and provide front-facing support to residents and staff
- Assist with research, special projects, and daily office operations
- Maintain property/liability claims and support municipal meetings/events
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of administrative or executive support experience preferred
- Experience supporting meetings, boards, or public-facing offices is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); Adobe/PDF tools required
- Familiarity with PowerPoint or Canva is a plus
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently
Compensation:
$25/hr to $27/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
