Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote; however, you will also have the opportunity to work from our outpatient office as needed. As part of a supportive team, you will engage in virtual consultations and therapy sessions, leveraging modern telehealth technologies to enhance client interactions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations, meticulously documenting each client’s journey from assessment through treatment completion.

• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans that cater specifically to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities and therapeutic techniques aimed at fostering behavioral and emotional change.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment interventions as necessary to ensure optimal mental health outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers, to develop integrated care strategies and ensure continuity of care.

• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery and implement preventative strategies to overcome them, thereby enhancing client resilience and outcomes.
\n
• Offer guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to help manage their loved ones' mental and behavioral health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients with varying needs, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction-related challenges. We take a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing the interplay between mental and physical health, and strive to provide our clients with the most comprehensive care possible.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Kansas.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical concepts to clients and colleagues alike.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of professional experience as a mental health counselor, with a proven ability to manage a caseload effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, to document patient interactions and treatment planning.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and a solid understanding of psychotropic medications prescribed by medical professionals.
\n
• Experience in working with clients who have co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, as well as those struggling with substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
