About This Role The Nurse Manager Assistant (ANM) is a professional registered nurse who supports the execution of the nursing strategic plan and priorities while providing operational and administrative support to nurse leadership. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Support the organization in executing the nursing strategic plan and priorities. Participate in unit and hospital decision-making. Provide operational and administrative support to nurse leadership. Coordinate staffing and support throughput, quality, and safety outcomes. Monitor staff competency, hiring, and clinical corrective actions. Assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing practice and care delivery. Interpret, support, and communicate policies, standards, and procedures. Serve as a role model for staff in professionalism and quality care. Identify cost containment measures within the department. Assume special projects as assigned and perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required; MSN preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required Prior assistant manager or supervisor experience highly preferred Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required ACLS required National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program preferred About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
