About the Role
The Company is seeking a Commercial Chief of Staff and Transformation Lead to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic operating partner and trusted advisor to the Chief Commercial Officer, driving the translation of commercial priorities into clear plans, governance, and execution. This role is pivotal in ensuring alignment and execution across the commercial organization, owning the commercial operating cadence, and advancing strategic initiatives. The Chief of Staff will also be responsible for synthesizing complex commercial issues, influencing senior leaders, and leading critical commercial transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and enhancing the commercial operating cadence, tracking key commitments, and partnering with various enterprise functions to integrate commercial priorities into decision-making and execution plans. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years of professionally relevant experience, or an MBA/advanced degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience. A strong background in pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial strategy, business operations, transformation, and launch planning is required, with a preference for those with US commercial strategy experience in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, exceptional executive communication skills, and the ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority. Experience in leading transformation initiatives, and a proven track record of managing ambiguity, and exercising sound judgment in a fast-paced environment, are also essential. The role demands a high level of integrity, discretion, and the ability to operate as an extension of the CCO's leadership agenda.
