About Us Cotti Foods began in 1967 with one Taco Bell restaurant in Southern California. Today, we proudly operate over 200 Taco Bell and Wendy's locations across six states. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a fast-paced environment. The Accounts Payable Clerk will support day-to-day financial operations by processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the Accounts Payable email inbox
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements and research missing or disputed invoices
- Scan, organize, and distribute incoming mail and financial documents
- Assist with weekly payment processing, including ACH, checks, and credit card payments
- Perform monthly reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Support additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Accurate typing skills and proficiency with 10-key data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of accounting, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related experience
- 10-key data entry by touch
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams and OneNote
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
