About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Travel experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred Charting experience with Epic required Description: This position involves providing patient care in an Intermediate Care setting. The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:4. Candidates should be comfortable with floating between units as needed. Weekend shifts are required. Skills required include managing and administering medications, cardiac telemetry, and care of ventilated patients. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion and management of central lines. Experience in handling various medical conditions including renal failure and spinal cord injury is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaboration with interdisciplinary support services. Compliance with safety and isolation precautions is mandatory. The role requires participation in rapid response and code teams when necessary.
