Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while enabling you to provide essential support to clients within our detox center framework. The effective incorporation of technology into our work allows communication and ongoing assessments through virtual meetings, ensuring that each client receives timely and appropriate guidance as needed. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening and weekend shifts to accommodate client needs. Additionally, on-call availability may be required to respond to urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Master Social Worker at Bright Path Social Work, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for seniors, evaluating their emotional, mental, and social health.

• Providing compassionate counseling and emotional support to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of addiction recovery and other life transitions.

• Advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring they have access to essential community resources and support services.

• Working within a cohesive team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and caregivers, to coordinate and strengthen the care provided to our clients.

• Regularly visiting clients (virtually and in person as needed) to monitor their well-being and reevaluate care plans based on their evolving needs.

• Facilitating family meetings to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and educate relatives about available support systems.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and progress notes to comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n
