Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy or counseling to students, addressing their unique social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

• Conduct thorough client interviews to gather and analyze social, personal, and environmental information that impacts the well-being of students.

• Identify, assess, and intervene in issues relevant to students, with a focus on behavioral mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and social adjustment.

• Design and implement engaging programs tailored to enhance the emotional and social development of students.

• Facilitate interventions for cognitive and emotional health crises and make referrals to relevant community resources when needed.

• Foster trusting relationships built on respect and acceptance and maintain open communication with students and families.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions through ongoing assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Ensure precise and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to established protocols.

• Manage a caseload of students effectively, maintaining timely updates on documentation to reflect the services rendered.

• Provide individual clinical counseling with a focus on fostering resilience and coping strategies in students.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.

• Active LCSW license in Texas.
