Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with patients, providing a safe and supportive environment for open discussions about their mental health.

• Diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with individuals, groups, and families using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Regularly meet with patients to provide counseling, monitor treatment progress, and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations, fostering accountability and continuity of care.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and specialists, making referrals as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Coastal Light Mental Health Clinic, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. You will help clients develop effective coping strategies and work towards intentional goals, tailoring therapeutic interventions to address their specific situations and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Current State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary to qualify for this position.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or group therapy is preferred, exhibiting therapeutic skills that reflect best practices in mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
