Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients, including individuals and families, based on their unique needs.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to facilitate effective therapy sessions.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Provide bilingual (Spanish and English) therapy services, enhancing communication and therapeutic rapport with a diverse range of clients.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development, seeking supervision and consultation as necessary to improve therapeutic skills.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and referrals when appropriate.
\n
• Prepare for and conduct telehealth sessions in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner, as well as in-person appointments at our outpatient office.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss client care and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on working with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families grappling with various mental health issues. Our diverse client population includes individuals dealing with trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and loss, as well as those seeking guidance related to LGBTQ+ issues and perinatal mental health. Cultural sensitivity is a cornerstone of our practice, and our therapists are expected to respect and understand each client’s unique cultural background.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• Active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Florida.
\n
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting, with direct experience working with a variety of populations.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
\n
• Must be culturally competent and sensitive to diverse family structures, traditions, and customs.
\n
• Familiarity with EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and relevant therapeutic tools.
\n
• Willing to work as an in-network provider for at least one insurance panel.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and insurance, with flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend sessions.
\n
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential; completion of a HIPAA training is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, or LGBTQ+ support is highly desirable.
\n
• Training in evidence-based interventions like CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.

• Previous experience in teletherapy is preferred.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with potential bonuses. We also provide opportunities for continuing education and professional development to help you further your skills and career.
