Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including the severity and duration of their mood disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care techniques to support recovery efforts.

• Regularly track and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated treatment approach.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with research and methodologies relevant to mood disorders.

• Maintain precise and confidential records of client interactions and treatment in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be supporting individuals diagnosed with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Establishing a trusting rapport is essential for effective treatment, enabling clients to express their challenges and work towards recovery collaboratively.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
