Core Responsibilities : Lead accounting operations, financial reporting, audit coordination, tax support, and internal control activities. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash planning, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide financial oversight for investment-related activity while collaborating with external advisors and service providers. Guide process improvements and systems modernization while managing and developing two senior-level accounting professionals. What You’ll Bring: 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership at the Accounting Manager or Controller level. Broad professional exposure across multiple organizations or environments; experience with foundations, nonprofits, investments, or endowments is helpful but not required. Strong command of GAAP, financial reporting, audits, controls, and complex tax or investment-related accounting matters. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is highly preferred, and NetSuite experience is a plus.
