Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct extensive preliminary interviews to gather comprehensive information, documenting each client's journey from their initial consultation through to the conclusion of their treatment.

• Assess and evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances.
\n
• Develop personalized intervention plans and recovery strategies that are responsive to the diverse needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques that encourage participation and engagement.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress regularly throughout their treatment plans, adjusting strategies as required to ensure optimal recovery and support.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to craft a unified intervention plan that promotes holistic healing.

• Stay informed and follow up with any relevant healthcare providers regarding clients who may need hospitalization or other specialized care.

• Identify potential behaviors that may hinder the recovery process and intervene appropriately to mitigate these challenges.

• Offer support and guidance to family members and caregivers, empowering them to manage associated mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a licensed mental health counselor, you will work closely with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, facilitating a safe space for personal growth and emotional healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts, with a good standing status.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, especially AVATAR, for efficient documentation and management of client records.
\n
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders, addiction issues, and their associated treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, that facilitate effective interaction with clients, families, and cross-disciplinary teams.

• A compassionate disposition coupled with strong interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior professional experience as a mental health counselor, ideally within a community health setting.

• A background in addressing both underlying physical health conditions and emotional struggles affecting client recovery.

• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A strong understanding of pharmacology and the potential effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
