Finance Administrator

Finance Administrator - Freight Forwarding Altius Talent is partnering with an international logistics organisation looking to appoint a Finance Administrator to support its US operation in Gardena, California. This is a hands-on finance position covering day-to-day Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, banking, reconciliations, reporting and month-end support. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers and management, helping ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and that the business maintains strong control over receivables, payables and cash flow. Responsibilities Prepare and issue customer invoices Allocate customer payments and receipts Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts Process supplier invoices and prepare payments Complete debtor, creditor and daily bank reconciliations Prepare and upload payment batches Monitor bank balances, receipts and unsuccessful payments Maintain accurate customer, supplier and financial records Support cash-flow forecasting and financial reporting Assist with month-end and year-end processes Prepare aged debtor and creditor reports Resolve customer, supplier and account queries Provide general office and administrative support Experience Required 2+ years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Strong reconciliation and analytical skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Accounting, Finance or related qualification preferred Experience using CargoWise would be advantageous but is not essential.
