Job Description
The Accounting Clerk will play a vital role in supporting the finance team by managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and facilitating communication with vendors and clients. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this position is part of a small accounting team and involves using accounting software such as QuickBooks to ensure smooth financial operations. The role may require occasional travel for training or meetings.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data accurately into accounting systems
- Process invoices and track payments
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
- Maintain organized financial records and documents
- Manage payment processing in a timely manner
- Handle bank deposits and related documentation
- Interact regularly with vendors and occasionally with clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in accounting
- High school diploma or equivalent
