Residential HVAC Service Manager
Lead. Develop. Grow.
We're looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Manager to lead our growing service team in Austin. If you're passionate about coaching technicians, improving operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience, this is an opportunity to make a real impact with a company that values leadership and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Residential HVAC Service Technicians.
- Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, dispatch coordination, and technician productivity.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics, including revenue, customer satisfaction, callback rates, and maintenance agreements.
- Conduct ride-alongs to provide technical guidance, coaching, and sales development.
- Support technicians with complex troubleshooting and customer concerns.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain top HVAC talent.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, EPA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with installation, dispatch, and customer service teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Manage service inventory, fleet readiness, tools, and equipment.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- EPA Certification required.
- Strong diagnostic and technical HVAC knowledge.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Experience managing service performance and KPIs.
- ServiceTitan or similar field service software experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
