DeKalb, IL $20.00 per hour Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Hours may occasionally adjust to 6:00 AM-2:30 PM based on business needs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Office Clerk to support a busy logistics and distribution operation in DeKalb, IL. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and maintain data in company systems and digital logs
• Manage emails and provide general administrative support
• Create, update, and maintain documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Review and proofread documents to ensure accuracy
• Maintain organized records and files
• Operate office equipment, including printers, scanners, and copiers
• Assist with various clerical and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous office, administrative, clerical, or data entry experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Experience maintaining electronic records and databases
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Standard hours: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Flexibility to work 6:00 AM-2:30 PM when needed for coverage
