Sales DirectorThe Sales Director is responsible for the development, implementation, and follow-up of a sales plan that will create opportunities for the proliferation of the company's products and services to commercial airline operators.Core ResponsibilitiesCultivate successful customer relationships that focus on mutual benefit, maximize the partnership potential, and drive to consistently meet or exceed customer expectationsAct as the primary point of contact for each appointed customer, and be a customer advocate for them within the organizationVisit customers on a regular basisDevelop well-organized, informative proposals in response to customer requests. Solicit and coordinate other internal resources when needed or desiredDevelop and present detailed product and system presentationsManage product/services mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aimsForecast product requirements for each customer on a monthly basisCommunicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationshipsLead customer contract negotiations and coordinate other internal resources as necessaryMonitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and informationAttend trade shows and seminars, demonstrate products, articulate competitive benefit of company products and servicesSeek out new sales and growth opportunities for the companyRepresent the company during negotiations and offsite sales meetings and advise management of outcome and next steps
