Director of Sales

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales to lead sales operations, drive revenue growth, and develop high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will create and execute sales strategies, strengthen customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve organizational goals while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Position Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing sales team. Establish sales objectives, performance metrics, and growth initiatives. Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets. Expand existing customer relationships while developing new strategic accounts. Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support. Resolve complex customer issues and strengthen long‑term partnerships. Sales Operations Monitor sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management. Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve overall performance. Ensure consistent execution of sales processes and best practices. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with operations, marketing, finance, customer service, and leadership teams to support business objectives. Coordinate customer initiatives and ensure successful execution of strategic projects. Communicate market insights and customer feedback to internal stakeholders. Team Development Recruit, coach, and develop sales professionals. Conduct performance evaluations and support career development. Foster a collaborative, results‑driven sales culture. Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Several years of progressive sales leadership experience, including managing high‑performing sales teams. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing strategic customer relationships. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience with sales forecasting, CRM systems, and performance analytics. Ability to develop and execute long‑term sales strategies. Strong business acumen and customer‑focused mindset. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required) Certified Professional Sales Leader (CPSL). Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP). Project Management Professional (PMP). CRM platform certification (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar). Lean Six Sigma certification.
