Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to children’s unique developmental needs.

• Monitor, track, and document outcomes, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effectiveness of interventions.

• Provide essential support and guidance to families, equipping them with resources and strategies to facilitate their child's development.
\n
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations to ensure compliance in all clinical practices.
\n
• Utilize rapport-building techniques to foster trusting relationships with children and families, promoting a supportive and nurturing environment.

• Design joint plans with families, incorporating evidence-based practices and following the principles of Natural Learning Environment.
\n
• Implement IFSP services based on the child’s developmental status and the family’s preferred frequency of support.
\n
• Offer training and coaching for families, enhancing their skills to support their children's growth across all developmental domains.

• Commit to maintaining the health and safety standards required, ensuring all interventions meet the highest quality expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily support families and children who are addressing developmental delays or disabilities, focusing on the strategic development of essential skills during the formative early years of life. Your efforts will directly contribute to the enhancement of physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills in children, empowering them to achieve developmental milestones and fostering their potential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, accredited by an appropriate governing body.

• Current licensure as a LCSW from the Department of Public Health is mandatory.
\n
• A valid driver’s license is required to facilitate any necessary travel for client services.

• Demonstrated experience in adapting interventions to match various learning styles and family preferences.

• A minimum of one year of experience in working with young children in early intervention settings.
\n
