Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work arrangement that aligns with both your schedule and the needs of your clients. You will have the opportunity to conduct sessions via telehealth, and also offer in-person therapy when appropriate. As a part of our school-based initiative, you will engage directly with students and their families, cultivating a supportive atmosphere to encourage healthy emotional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals and circumstances.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Work collaboratively with fellow social service professionals and educators to create integrated support systems for clients, attending team meetings and contributing insights from your clinical perspective.

• Adhere to high ethical standards and uphold professional conduct in accordance with Maryland's licensing regulations, ensuring confidentiality and respect for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele served in this position includes children, adolescents, and families within the school system. You will address a variety of psychological concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence the mental health trajectory of young individuals, fostering their emotional and psychological growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• Possess an active LCSW-C license in the state of Maryland, which is a requirement for this role.

• Holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid foundation in clinical knowledge and practice.
