Accountant

A growing development & management company with a diverse portfolio across the Southeast has an immediate need for a Corporate Accountant. The team is committed to operational excellence, financial discipline, and delivering strong returns for ownership partners. As the portfolio expands, they are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated accountant who will thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Position Summary The accountant will support day-to-day and month-end accounting operations for a multi-property hospitality portfolio. This role requires a strong knowledge of reporting, and the ability to manage multiple property deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform full‑cycle month‑end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Prepare and review property‑level financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, OTA receivables, and brand billings. Monitor revenue postings and ensure interface accuracy between systems. Partner with leadership on budget variance analysis and financial reporting. Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Process accounts payable and ensure accuracy. Assist with audits, lender reporting, and tax documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within hospitality. Multi‑entity or multi‑property accounting experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP). Experience with sales & use tax and occupancy tax filings. Cash management across multiple bank accounts. Inter‑company accounting experience. Self‑starter who enjoys a fast‑paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Carolina PRG
