Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that are aligned with the specific needs, goals, and preferences of your clients.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address clients’ unique challenges.

• Educate and support clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on objective outcomes and client feedback.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care.

• Stay updated with the latest research on mood disorders to enhance treatment practices and client experiences.

• Maintain complete and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in team discussions, learning opportunities, and case consultations to promote professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will provide therapeutic services to a diverse spectrum of clients, including those from underrepresented populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role is crucial in fostering their healing journeys and empowering them to lead healthier, fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
