Biochemist for AI Model Training [Remote]

Apply deep biochemistry expertise to help train next-generation AI systems in the life sciences. In this remote contractor role you will provide high-quality, domain-specific input that improves how models learn, reason, and perform. No prior AI experience is required; domain knowledge in biochemistry is the primary qualification.

• Review complex biochemical datasets, research findings, and laboratory protocols to provide accurate expert-level annotation and validation.
• Develop and refine content, use cases, and real-world scenarios based on current biochemistry practices for use in AI model training.
• Assess the scientific validity and clarity of biochemistry-related prompts, model-generated outputs, and informational resources.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate domain insights into actionable feedback for model improvement.
• Identify knowledge gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases in biochemical content to strengthen model robustness.
• Deliver clear, concise written and verbal explanations of complex concepts to inform AI training processes.
• Participate in iterative review cycles to maintain the accuracy and relevance of biochemistry inputs over time.

• Required skill set: biochemistry.
• Preferred education: advanced degree such as a Master’s or PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in biochemical mechanisms, laboratory methods, and familiarity with current scientific literature.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for data interpretation and problem solving.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with attention to clarity and detail.
• Experience contributing to scientific publications, peer review, or educational materials is desirable.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration in research, biotech, or health science contexts is preferred.
• Curiosity about technology and openness to applying domain knowledge in AI-related work.
