Technical Product Manager

Our multi-brand and omni-channel approach include our own insurance carrier, insurance brands and partner brands.Works with other Technology areas to make tactical decisions about product functionality.Manages projects that consist of a single development team.Propose and manage demand for application work.Manages projects through all phases and milestones.Manages product feature/capability set for business solutions.Performs market and competitor analysis.Authors product requirement documents (PDDs) and technical specs to support engineering handoff and stakeholder alignment.Scopes and manages partner-facing API and system-to-system integrations, coordinating with external technical teams through delivery.Translates technical tradeoffs into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Experience: 3-4 years' relevant experience; experience with partner/vendor integrations or vertical SaaS strongly preferred.Education: Must meet one of the following requirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)Associate's Degree in a Technical FieldCertification in relevant focus areaPreferred: Experience in insurance, animal health, or another regulated/compliance-heavy vertical.Level Specific Responsibilities:Creates and manages product roadmapsWorks with Marketing to determine advertising strategy for productsAnalyzes metrics and measures product performance; comfortable working with data engineering to validate reporting accuracyManages larger projects that may consist of more than one development teamWorks with platform development vendors and internal cross-functional partners (Design, Legal, Data, Engineering) to provide technical management.
