Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations to assess clients' needs, documenting detailed case information from the first contact through the completion of treatment.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and align with clients' specific mental, behavioral, and emotional health goals.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address a wide range of mental health challenges.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress against treatment objectives and adjust plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical doctors, and other mental health professionals to coordinate intervention strategies for comprehensive care.
\n
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.
\n
• Engage with family members and caregivers by providing guidance on managing mental health challenges, ensuring a supportive environment for the client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds, each dealing with unique mental health concerns. Clients may present with a range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in providing holistic support that empowers them to navigate their challenges and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate to individuals from various backgrounds.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural empathy for clients’ situations, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with the latest developments in psychotherapy and best practices as outlined by organizations such as the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, is highly preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of the implications of prescribing medications and their effects on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, additionally complemented by a sign-on bonus.
