Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center in Reno is equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies and facilities designed to support a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services. Our clinic operates onsite with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments of patients to develop an in-depth understanding of their therapeutic needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's goals and condition.
• Administer hands-on manual therapy techniques while guiding patients through tailored exercise programs focused on recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation processes, and expected outcomes, fostering engagement in their care.
• Collaborate with referring providers and team members to coordinate optimal care, ensuring an integrated approach to patient management.
• Encourage an environment of positivity and collaboration, contributing to the growth-focused culture of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Staff Physical Therapist at True North Medical Institute, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our client population includes individuals of all ages, from active young adults to seniors, each with unique rehabilitation needs. You will play a vital role in their recovery journey, utilizing your expertise to guide them towards achieving their long-term health objectives.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as a physical therapist in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
• Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions is essential.
• A commitment to learning and growing professionally within a team-oriented setting.

Preferred Experience

• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification or a keen interest in pursuing this credential.
• Familiarity with postoperative rehabilitation protocols, sports therapy, or advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to facilitate efficient patient documentation and care coordination.
