Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - Berkshire Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Telemetry experience required.

Required Credentials: - Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required.

Special Requests: - This assignment allows expedited credentialing or pending credentials so you can start in under 3 weeks. - Must be ready and willing to complete credentialing quickly. - All requested time off and scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission/upload; requests after upload, during interview, or after offer will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer. - Once your initial requested time off is accepted, no further negotiations of terms will occur before your start date. - Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment - Ability to start ASAP

Unit Details: - Uses Meditech Expanse.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Holidays required if needed. - No call. - Must be available for two holidays: Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day, including surrounding days. Travelers may not take all holidays off.

Floating Requirements: - Med Surg travelers must be willing to float to any MS unit.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 11/27/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/26/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
