Marketing SpecialistWe are looking for a Marketing Specialist that is a self-starter who is responsible for assisting the Marketing Officer to strategize and implement marketing activities for new and existing customers. They will work closely with the Business Intelligence Specialist to develop marketing activities to help drive business development. This position provides administrative support to the Marketing Officer, lenders and affiliated companies.Job ResponsibilitiesTo provide an exceptional service experience, every time!Assist in the content development, creation and implementation of the marketing initiatives for the BankCollaborate with the Business Intelligence Specialist and business development teams to support the Bank's strategic objectivesCommunicate campaign objectives and deliverables to business development teamOversee and maintain online marketing channels including website, intranet, Digital Academy and social media accountsLead and guide business development team members in the effective and professional use of social media to drive engagement and support growth initiativesResponsible for maintaining and distributing promotional suppliesProvide assistance with planning and hosting business networking and employee engagement eventsMust have excellent communication skills and attention to detailMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Canva, or other design softwareMust be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlinesFamiliarity with customer relationship management (CRM) toolsOther duties as assigned: Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice, deemed necessary by Management.This is a full-time position performed in a regular office work environment and will routinely use standard office equipment. Travel may be required to 1st National branch offices, meetings with vendors or shopping for event materials.Education and Experience1-2 years of professional experience requiredDegree in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing or a related field preferredBanking experience preferredSkills and AbilitiesExperience with Social Media content creation in a professional settingExperience with event planning, event coordination and event executionStrong verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent customer service and relationship management abilitiesStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
