Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, using evidence-based strategies to inform treatment plans.

• Maintain ongoing communication with interdisciplinary team members as well as families and guardians to effectively monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Schedule and organize appointments, home visits, and follow-ups to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

• Prepare and document progress notes monthly and quarterly, outlining client advancements and areas for continued focus.
\n
• Lead training sessions for staff to enhance their understanding of therapeutic protocols, and ensure competency in implementing treatment plans.

• Engage in regular team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on patient care strategies.
\n
• Act as a liaison to the local mental health community, building relationships to support our organizational goals and outreach efforts.

• Coordinate home visits strategically to understand client environments better and reinforce therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all aspects of mental health counseling.
\n
• Contribute to developing new training materials and procedures to improve care delivery and staff performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with a varied client base, including adults and youths facing numerous mental health challenges. These can range from anxiety, depression, and substance misuse to trauma-related issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of New Jersey.
