About the Role This isn't a typical sales job. We're looking for hunters—the kind of salespeople who get energy from cold calls, love prospecting, and thrive when building something from nothing. Responsibilities Prospect Relentlessly: Cold call, network, knock on doors—whatever it takes to fill your pipeline Generate qualified opportunities with Fortune 500 companies, commercial real estate firms, healthcare systems, and enterprise facilities Build relationships with decision makers who haven't heard of us yet Qualify prospects, conduct needs assessments, and position integrated security solutions Work with our technical team to design proposals that win Negotiate, handle objections, and close deals on your own timeline Own Your Numbers: Maintain 3:1 pipeline coverage through consistent prospecting activity Hit monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets Track everything in CRM and manage your territory like a business Move Fast: This is a field role—you'll be out meeting people, visiting sites, and closing business face-to-face No cubicles, no micromanaging, no wasting time in all-day meetings Qualifications The Essentials: 3+ years of B2B sales experience where you were responsible for generating your own leads Documented proof that you can hit or exceed quota (we'll ask for numbers) Hunter DNA, you genuinely enjoy the grind of prospecting and opening new accounts Thick skin and the ability to handle rejection without losing momentum Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage executives and facility managers Nice to Have (But Not Required): Background in security integration, construction, MEP, tech sales, or other complex B2B industries Experience selling into Fortune 500 or large enterprise accounts Existing relationships in NYC/Northern NJ commercial real estate, healthcare, or facilities management Must Have: Valid driver's license Based in or willing to cover NYC/Northern New Jersey daily Pay range and compensation package The Straight Story: Base Salary: $70,000 - $120,000 depending on your experience and track record Commission: Uncapped. No territory caps. No artificial limits. Realistic OTE Year 1: $150,000 - $250,000 Top Performers Year 2+: $250,000 - $400,000+ Plus: Monthly vehicle reimbursement Cell phone stipend 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Bottom line: If you can hunt, you'll make money here. If you can't, you won't last. The Territory You'll cover: NYC (all 5 boroughs) and Northern New Jersey (Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Union counties). Work from home.
