Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification at time of hire
Critical care experience preferred
Must demonstrate competency in Dysrhythmia during Orientation
Completing of Critical Care Course within 1 year of hire
Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the nursing process.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor and assess patient health status and responses to treatments.
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
Delegate appropriate nursing tasks based on staff competency and legal scope of practice.

Compliance / Notes:

Required certifications must be completed as per department specifications.
Must have EPIC experience.
