Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, leveraging telehealth technologies to deliver care. Our telehealth platform is designed to create a seamless and secure environment for therapists and clients, ensuring effective communication and therapeutic rapport. The work week is structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to pinpoint clients' challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions and therapeutic sessions, focusing on stress reduction, emotional regulation, and self-awareness.

• Facilitate dynamic group workshops and classes that teach mindfulness techniques, coping strategies, and stress management to larger audiences.

• Guide clients through mindful meditation, breathing exercises, and self-reflective practices to help them navigate difficult emotions and life transitions.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and personalized treatment plans using our secure electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to weave mindfulness practices into a comprehensive holistic treatment plan for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LPC, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Proven ability to integrate mindfulness techniques into clinical practices.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, enabling the creation of a supportive and therapeutic environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly preferred, though not strictly required.
