Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate individual client needs, focusing on the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that encompass their unique goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote adaptive coping strategies.

• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families on understanding mood disorders and navigating treatment options.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness and outcomes.

• Partner with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and multidimensional care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential progress notes, treatment plans, and other documentation following legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training to further develop clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be individuals experiencing various mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, which may include adolescents, adults, and families facing emotional and psychological challenges. Your goal will be to empower clients through effective treatment strategies, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid, current license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work seamlessly alongside psychiatrists and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
