Job Description: This position involves working within a trauma level facility using the Cerner charting system. The unit includes PT, OT, and Speech services, based at Marian and Arroyo Grande for home-based care. Certifications such as Speech are preferred or required depending on the role. Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Cerner, and rehab aides, occupational therapy assistants, and physical therapy assistants are available and typically permanent staff. The weekend requirement is every third weekend, with minor holidays observed and major holidays only if necessary. Business attire with a white lab coat is preferred, and jeans are not allowed. Work shifts are flexible, with the majority of work hours being Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Candidates will be assigned to a geographical region and will undergo a 1.5 to 2-week floor-specific orientation. Common diagnoses include PT/OT for orthopedics, strokes, joint, and spinal injuries, as well as speech-related issues. Candidates must have experience with Oasis (government mandated form) and one year of experience working in PT/OT/Sp, with home setting experience preferred but not required.
