This position is fully remote, enabling you to deliver services through a telehealth platform. Our flexible work hours accommodate a balanced lifestyle, and standard business hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for senior clients to identify their individual care requirements.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, specifically addressing issues related to grief, life transitions, and aging.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including medical doctors, social workers, and nursing staff, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the geriatric population.

• Provide educational resources and support for families, guiding them on techniques to enhance emotional well-being and improve the quality of life for their loved ones.

• Offer specialized grief and loss counseling services to seniors and their families who are processing end-of-life concerns.

• Implement cognitive stimulation and mental health enrichment programs designed to foster mental clarity and engagement among older individuals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on senior clients who may face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, cognitive decline, and the emotional complexities stemming from aging. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is a prerequisite.

• Current certification as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
